Happy Easter - Happy Spring

Friday we went to see Jonathan and Sarah in Kalamazoo. We were celebrating Julia and Sarah's birthdays. On our drive to Kalamazoo, Jonathan called to warn us of the snowy weather they were having. After we passed through Lansing, it began to snow ~ and it never stopped. Arriving three hours later in Kzoo, we were greeted with over 12 inches of white, fluffy snow! Ughhhh!! We had a great time together, but we were grateful to arrive back home safely! Happy Spring! Aghhh!

Easter 2008

Today we went to have dinner with Kathy, Michael, Tiffany, and Sydney, and Gay and Jeff. We had a wonderful buffet lunch at The Western. During lunch, we were visited by the Easter Bunny - delivering eggs to the children. How fun to watch Sydney's face light up when the Easter Bunny came! I am totally blessed to have such a loving family!

Unwallpapering

This is our bathroom curtain . . . isn't it cute!
Notice the red walls~ beautiful

Craig and I decided to unwallpaper our bedroom! (Well, I decided to unwallpaper and convinced Craig he should help me!!) We've had a good time redecorating the upstairs - - only two more room to unwallpaper!! Our bedroom is beautiful and we have a red bathroom. I'm so very proud of the window treatment . . . I made them! :) I'll be posting more pictures as we finish the project!!

new project . . . Julia's room

Julia's new room . . .we surprised her by redecorating her room for her birthday! :) (unfortunately for us, she surprised us by coming home for the weekend before it was finished) Barb did a great job with paint, color, and decorating! Watch for more pics as her bedroom is completed! (I think Julia will ALWAYS love pink!!)

Moe - purrfectly cute

This is MOE! He's my grandcat! I don't really 'love' cats but this guy is very cute! He is large and in charge of Jonathan's apartment. After a bit, he warms up to you and allows you to cuddle and love him. He has a very cute purrsonality! :)

Jonathan. . .

It was a highlight of our weekend to see Jonathan. He got out of work early so we were able to spend the afternoon and evening with him. His apartment is awesome and things are going well for both Sarah and Jonathan. We are so proud of them and their successes! It's wonderful, as a parent, to see your child doing well and so happy in love! God has blessed us ~ we are so proud of both of our kids! :)

. . .much needed weekend away

Craig and I went to Grand Rapids for a quick get-away this weekend. We stayed at the beautiful Amway Grand Friday night. Saturday we drove to Kalamazoo to see Jonathan and Sarah. It was nice to be away from dreary Flint, and it was great to see our son! (Sarah was working so we didn't get to see her) We're so very proud of them!
